need. exists for those times when your charity has a gap in fundraising or communications.

We can support your usual activity or when you’re embarking on something new.

We believe that by encouraging and equipping you with bridging support you will overcome the challenges you and your organisation face to achieve your impact.

us.

We are Andy and Rachel Heald, a husband and wife team whose professional skills and experience complement one another to form need.

We are both consultants and practitioners, personally filling the gaps our clients have and are a hub for any additional expertise our projects require. We’re based in the beautiful West Highlands of Scotland, so most of our work is delivered remotely.

Andy is currently our lead practitioner and would love to talk to you if you’re in need of support.

experience.

Our experience of the charity sector comes from working in, and alongside, a variety of organisations; from developing strategic plans to delivering tactical communications and fundraising activity.

Our heart is to see lives changed for the better, so we’ve spent more than 25 years working in big and small charities, helping each one make a difference. Along the way we have also developed a specialism in Christian organisations as we have a deep, personalunderstanding of their motivation, ethos and language.

Charities need support. Our work has always been focused on helping connect people and organisations with the causes they love - to make the world a better place.

Our current support includes:

  • Interim Head of Supporter Engagement for an international mission charity

  • Communications and content creation for an international Bible resourcing charity

  • Fundraising and communications oversight for an international eye care charity
